Bro goverment jobs secure to hoti hain lekin un main wo growth nahi mil sakhte jo private jobs main milti hai. Achi private companies apko zaleel to karainge lekin sath sath apko polish bhi karainge. Apki field of study economics haina?

That work-from-home shit looks easy to those who aren't doing it. When you are working from home you are putting many more hours into your work as compared to the usual 9-5. Since your field of study is public administration I guess you have no choice but to work for the government lol.

I have developed a strong hatred for the public sector after observing the performance of people working in government jobs so I may be biased here. In my opinion, a government should be strong but it shouldn't be running companies. It's not the government's job to run companies such as airlines, oil companies or steel mills etc, these should be run exclusively by the private sector.

Hehe public sector is nothing new in this region
Even mughals had hundreds of karkhanas producing many things from perfume to swords
Owned by the government and those who worked there were paid directly by the state, Mir i saman was the chief procurement officer as I remember for the whole empire.
Your Lahore was famous for horse trade from central Asia, managed by khatri and multanis etc .

The salary of your average karkhana worker was 3 rupees a month nobody was paid more, , a mughal soldier was paid for only 6 to 8 months , a salary of 20 rupees was. Luxury .
Most pen pushing small time afsars earned 3 rupees, while the rich folks spent 80000 rupees on fireworks alone for example.

Public sector motive is never profit, its always service.
While private sector is for profit , this is taught to us on day 1 .
Efficiency is handled and increased by lateral recruitment practices

I heard Pakistan railways is getting privatised , its unfortunate because now will see , if this comes to pass, then many non profitable routes will be shutdown

I am well aware of this and I definitely not a supporter of neo-liberalism. However, the public sector in our region is simply too damn corrupt and incompetent. We are not like the Europeans or even the Chinese, hum dande pe chalne wali koom hain and in public sector there is no danda.

As far as basic necessities like healthcare and education are concerned, they should never be completely handed over to the private sector. Everyone should have access to free or at the very least affordable healthcare and education.

Let me give you the example of NBP. When I compare the National Bank of Pakistan to all the private banks in the country, it's like comparing a modern bank with a shitty bank from 70 years ago. I can't even begin to describe how bad NBP is.

Every single one of its branches has too many unnecessary employees and they do nothing all day and these employees treat their customers like rubbish. These clowns will make you wait for more than 4 hours and then tell you that the task that the customer asked for cannot be done.

The best thing about the private sector is meritocracy because at the end of the day the goal is to make maximum profit and maximum profit can't be gained without meritocracy.
