Pakistan India games generate the most revenue of any games. You can play anyone but it would not sell unless Pakistan is part of it. Check the statistics.

Basic difference is this: anytime India plays with anyone, the Indian board makes money. There is a reason that most countries want to host India. Pakistan-India is interesting only because India does not play Pakistan very often. Otherwise India-Australia draws similar levels of interest. PCB on the other hand has no such financial windfall, if Pakistan does not host India, they will never make a decent sum of money. Add to the mix, IPL and you will understand who holds all the cards.

Here is the fact...Your statements are correct to some extent...The money Indian crickets are earning are too huge in comparison to other sports...Think about Saina Newal..who is No 1 ranked in a global game which is being played by more than 100 nations around the world...So she does not get so much media attention that India in WC and again..India loose in Semi final..So you can understand the amount of money is being invested...

Cricket is nothing more than a business nowadays... Every single match is fixed in IPL, even my colleagues are doing betting with the bookies... Its just a phone call now, bet the money and if you win, next day morning the bookie will come and give the money, if you loose they will come and collect the amount from you....

PCB needs India-Pakistan series to survive. Pakistan should stop playing against India first.

Donot worry PCB has the fourth largest revenue at $55 million, out of all the nations playing cricket and this massive by any standards.

Problem is if India contributes in revenue, so does in football , there are European Nations, who contribute the most, do they make such stupid crazy movies like BIG 3, etc. This only happen in ICC, a corrupt institute due to England,and India cheaters inside it. Only Australia deserves to be the BIG 1, due to its consistent successes in Cricket and overall top class infrastructure and organisation of local cricket.

sorry but indians are so over rating themselves here. Its pak and india rivalry that sells. And its not that indian cricket is watched with some oh my god interest. Its bcci's money in icc that has given india some importance and also ipl itself has destroyed cricket quality imo.
